Our Lady of Knock, Mother of Silence and Hope,
as this weekend begins, we come before you with everything we carry in our hearts. Thank you for the week that has passed, for the moments that brought us joy, for the people who stood beside us, and even for the difficulties that taught us patience and strength. Help us to slow down this weekend, quiet the noise within us and give our minds a little rest. Teach us to notice the simple gifts around us: a kind word, a peaceful morning, a familiar face, the beauty of creation, and the gift of simply being together. Be close to those who cannot enjoy this weekend as they wish, those who are lonely, worried, sick, grieving, or tired. Comfort those who feel forgotten, and remind them that they are never alone.
Watch over our communities, families, our friends, and all those entrusted to our care. Bring peace to our homes and patience to our hearts. Where there is tension, bring understanding. Where there is sadness, bring consolation. Where there is fear, bring courage.
Stand beside us in the days ahead. Help us to begin the new week with renewed strength, a grateful heart, and a little more kindness toward one another. And when Monday comes, may we carry with us something of this weekend's peace, not only for ourselves, but for everyone we meet.
Our Lady of Knock, Mother of Hope, pray for us, stay with us, and lead us closer to your Son.
Amen.
