Lord God, 

on this solemn day of reflection, I come before you with a quiet heart. As I remember the betrayal of Jesus, I also see the ways I have turned away from You in thought, in word, and in action. Yet even in betrayal, your mercy was not overcome. Teach me to be faithful in the small things, to choose love when it is difficult, and truth when it is costly. Cleanse my heart of anything that separates me from you. Give me the grace to repent sincerely, and the courage to follow Christ more closely. As Holy Week continues, draw me deeper into Your mystery of love and sacrifice. Help me walk with Jesus, not only in his suffering, but in the hope of his resurrection.

I trust in your mercy, Lord. I rest in your love.
