patron of the homeless, the travelers, and those seeking refuge, we give thanks for the peaceful and restorative weekend. We thank you for the respite from the daily pressures of life, for the opportunity to rest our bodies and refresh our spirits.

We offer our gratitude for the physical recovery we have experienced, for the easing of aches and pains, and for the renewed strength and energy we feel. We thank you for the quiet moments of reflection, for the chance to reconnect with our inner selves and draw closer to God.

We ask for your continued blessing, Saint Alexius, that this renewed strength and peace may sustain us throughout the coming week. Help us to carry the spirit of rest and rejuvenation into our daily lives, and to approach our tasks with renewed purpose and compassion.
